Marcel Breuer Wassily Chair B3

The Marcel Breuer B3 was designed in 1925. Supposedly, the chair was designed for the house of Bauhaus master Wassily Kandinsky while he was a teacher at the Bauhaus in Dessau. This is how the Wassily chair got its name. Marcel Breuer was inspired by his Adler bicycle, whose strength and lightness impressed him. The model designation B3 is found rather rarely.

Revolutionary at the time especially the use of tubular steel and the manufacturing process of the Breuer Wassily. The tubular steel frames were merely nickel-plated at the time. The high-gloss chrome plating, as the model is offered in its current version, only later found its way back into the manufacturing process.

- High-gloss chrome-plated tubular steel frame
- Tube ends welded, hand polished and bright chrome plated
- Seat, backrest and armrests in core leather or in pony fur (black-brown-white drawing)

Like all our furniture, this design classic is handcrafted in selected Italian workshops.
