Arne Jacobsen Chair 3107

Arne Jacobsen designed the chair with the model designation 3107 in 1955. Jacobsen won the so-called Good Form Award with this chair design. Jacobsen's stacking chair impresses with its clear form and high functionality.

Although one would not expect it of the 3107, Arne Jacobsen's award winner has a high seating comfort. The springy wooden shell of the Jacobsen chair is attached to a tubular steel frame and allows for a pleasant and comfortable sitting position.

The flexibility of the 3107 chair - which has also become known as the Ant chair - allow it to be used at dining room tables, in offices at work desks or simply as an object.
As with the egg and swan models Jacobsen used inspiration taken from nature to create the "ant chair". Jacobsen used nature to relax and at the same time inspired him in his creative works.

Jacobsen's chair is available to order in two basic variants. Eco and Origin. The difference between the versions is explained, among other things, by a metal cover that is placed under the chair model (Origin version) and by a much more elaborate fixation of the wooden seat shell to the base frame.

Furthermore, the Origin version of the Arne Jacobsen chair offers a tidy look. (Under the chair. Provided anyone looking underneath the chair).

Update April 2017: Eco version is no longer available! For safety reasons, this very inexpensive chair version has been removed from the program. If other suppliers continue to offer this inexpensive chair variant (from approx. 130.00 EUR) in the program, we advise not to purchase! (The wooden seat shell could detach from the frame. Danger of accident!).
