René Herbst Sandows Chair with Armrests 

The René Herbst chair Sandows - version with armrests - drifts a little out of focus when it comes to the subject of famous furniture designs. In our opinion unjustified. 

Herbst was one of the first to use tubular steel as a material for manufacturing chairs. The seat and back surfaces were formed with the help of expander belts (French Sandow) hooked into the steel tube.

A simple and effective connection was thus created. A symbiosis of transparency and a seating comfort adapted to the body.

- Expander straps available in different colors: black, red and blue
