Eero Saarinen Tulip Chair with Armrests
The Eero Saarinen Tulip chair convinces with its visual appearance. The seat shell including its integrated armrests, not only looks appealing and at the same time futuristic but also impresses with comfort.
Saarinen's clever design idea was the central frame base - made of cast aluminum - which ensures saving space under your dining room table. No more clutter of chair and table legs.
Additionally, since the Tulip chair is rotatable, this chair model makes it easy to "get in and out" of the dining room table.
Seat of the Saarinen swivel armchair optionally upholstered in a choice of leather, fabric or textile leather. You can find the choice in the pull down menu. Seat shell of the chair made of fiberglass reinforced ABS.
This material is - unlike pure fiberglass - significantly less sensitive and has a high breaking elongation. (Elastic energy absorption). The coated cast aluminum base is rotatably mounted.
The components consisting of the seat shell and the base are connected with a tapered roller bearing which withstands the highest loads and thus guarantees a long service life. These special bearings are also used for vehicle construction. Dumping price providers do without this important detail, among others.

Like all our furniture, the Tulip chair with armrests is handmade in selected Italian workshops.
