Wilhelm Wagenfeld Bauhaus Lamp Chrome. Reduced. Available at short notice.
The Swiss Bauhaus employee G.J. Jucker designed this lamp based on the Bauhaus lamp Wa24 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. The latter had designed the lamp in 1924 on behalf of the metal workshop CEO Làszlò Moholy-Nagy.
Today, the Wagenfeld Bauhaus lamp is probably one of the most famous and popular lamps in the history of design. It fits perfectly on desks, reception counters, living rooms or simply on the nightstand.
The model is a simple and elegant table lamp with an opal glass shade, metal style and high-gloss polished chrome base. On/off switch by pulling the chain.
All metal parts of the lamp are high quality chrome-plated. The opal glass shade is attached to a metal ring by three small screws and can be easily removed to replace the bulb.
(Supplied without bulb. Socket E27. max 60/11/7 W).
The high quality glass dome of this designer lamp is handmade by experienced glass blowers and is not machine made. Small air inclusions can not be excluded in this old traditional craft and are explicitly not a reduction in quality. These dimensional tolerances in form of typical bubbles make this Bauhaus lamp unique.
Dimensions:
